Is your truck constantly getting clogged fuel filters?
If your truck's fuel filters are repeatedly getting clogged with a black sludge, it might be caused by one of two factors.
- Asphaltenes – Most likely you are fighting a very common problem caused by asphaltenes. Asphaltenes are created when diesel fuel is heated under high pressure as it passes through today's high pressure fuel injection systems. The fuel becomes scorched and creates asphaltenes (small pieces of tar) that will plug your fuel filter prematurely. Our fuel treatment will remove and prevent the formation of asphaltenes.
- Tank Algae – Have you seen a black buildup inside your truck's fuel tank? Many times this is referred to as algae, but technically it is microbe colonies that grow on the tank's walls. Our treatment will prevent it from growing and help remove it from your tank.
